Due to many unfortunate circumstances surrounding the Prom that the Senior Council was planning, we have decided that it will be best to postpone the proposal for the event for now.

The proposal will thus be carried out next school year, like what was suggested by our adviser, Sir MJ. We will maintain the original premise of holding a formal social event with UPIS Batch 2024, but the proponents will be the future track reps of our batch. With this decision, we only hope that at least one member of the Senior Council will be able to be part of said track reps, and thus be the primary proponent of the event. We also believe that the batches will be able to connect better, as both will be in senior high school and therefore easier to relate to and interact with.

Despite our inability to hold a prom as the Senior Council this school year, we will try our best to give our batch the prom experience by assisting the Junior Association in their proposed prom to ensure the representation of our batch in planning for said event.

However, this does not mean that the Senior Council will not be idle after letting go of this project for the meantime. We still have an event for the batch planned, and we will instead turn our focus towards enacting this project within the 2nd semester.

We thank you for the trust and support that you have given to us during our planning period. We regret that we will not be able to fulfill all of our plans for the batch, yet we acknowledge that we could not have given the batch the best experience we could give if we committed to the event prematurely and unpreparedly. We hope that you continue supporting us and look forward to what the Senior Council has in store for the rest of our term.
